Commonwealth Electrical Technologies, Inc. has expanded rapidly with offices in Worcester and Bridgewater, MA.

Our management team has a combined 150+ years of experience managing and executing construction projects of all sizes. Currently staffed at over 150 personnel we have the team to handle all facets of an electrical project. CET provides electrical construction services throughout New England. We have working relationships with banking and bonding companies to handle any size project. Much of our work is in the design/build space.

We will work with the owner or general contractor to design the projects based on the client’s needs and budget. We also have a solar division and provide full installation services for large-scale solar projects.

Job Description:

Commonwealth Electrical Technologies Inc. has an immediate need for a Payroll Coordinator. This person would be responsible for processing weekly payroll records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    This includes computing wages, deductions, benefits, etc.; checking payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order.; answering questions and resolving issues regarding payroll issues or discrepancies; producing reports to management upon request. Other duties include accounts payable and reporting of information.


  • Experience with Paycom or other payroll systems. Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Proven experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role
  • Processing multistate payroll a plus
  • Familiarity with payroll processes
  • Comfortable with Excel (functions, data etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High School diploma or equivalent
